I was happy with this post.

Hello people, I don't really have that much to say this week but I'll type and see what turns up on the screen :)

My least favourite book to film adaption was by far Eragon, I really enjoyed that book, but the film was just awful. Not only was the acting terrible, they weren't even true to the book, loads of important plot points were changed.
My favourite book to film adaption is possibly Lord of the Rings, I felt that they really captured the feel of the books and it was very well cast.

Katie, I'm a big fan of Alex's days music but I really didn't like Lady Godiva, the song or the video. He has so many better songs that deserved videos. I dunno, it just seemed annoying.

Kayla, I have a younger sister who I get on okay with most of the time. She's 14 so she gets randomly really angry if my xbox is noisy or something like that. But for the most part it's grand.

I think somebody mentioned John Green books. I've only read Looking for Alaska so far and I had TFIOS spoiled (sort of) so I'm not as enthusiastic to read it anymore, which kinda sucks.

Eh, can I ask what beaver tail is?

I'm doing the fifty book challenge this year and I'm making my way through it. I just finished a book called "A madman dreams of Turing Machines" which was ok. It was fact/fiction which was interesting to read. It was well written but I think the genre lead to a lot of factual statements rather than insights or descriptions. I'm starting into The War of the Worlds now. Seems pretty good so far.

Finally, I'll mention that I'm going to a music festival this summer. They give you a free ticket if you do a charity cycle and raise at least €300 for the childrens hospital in Dublin. I'm really excited about it. The lineup is really good too, The Killers, The Cure and Ed Sheeran are all playing.

DFTBA

P.S. I was watching a youtube video this week that said one in one hundred americas is in jail. (That statistic might be wrong, but it's something very similar.) What do you guys think of that? Is crime a big problem in America/Canada/New Zealand? I just find it weird coming from Ireland where we have one prison in the country. Well, two if you count the Republic and Northern Ireland as one. Either way, that's two prisons for 5 million people.

P.P.S I thought this was the two hundred and fiftieth post until I saw one of them was just a draft so this is 249 :P Darn
