This week has been rather annoying for me. It has been filled with lots of stuff to do and work to be done, but I honestly just want to sleep. And sleep. And sleep. I've been feeling kind of off the last couple of days, and now I am sort of catching a cold. It's rather bothersome.
I have watched a lot of movies this week, all of which have been really good. A few to mention are Eternal Sunshine, 500 Days of Summer, and The Dead Poet's Society. It's been nice to take time from life to just lay in bed and watch movies. I generally don't watch many movies unless it's a weekend and it becomes an occasion.
I finished The Fault in our Stars on Sunday. It was kinda the second time I've read it. The first time I had it read to me over Skype just after the book came out. But it is such a good book, I am so glad I got the opportunity to get a copy. I was thinking that I would have to wait for my birthday to get a copy.
As for accents, I don't really feel like there is much of a Canadian accent. I've been told before that there is a distinct accent, but none that I can thus far tell. With me it becomes a bit different because I speak some French, so that tends to blend into it some.
I didn't do much for Valentine's Day, except for a bakesale for our yearbook committee. I am not much a fan of the entire thing, probably mainly cause I have never had a boyfriend or anything to spend it with. Of course, all of the people that I would like to spend it with live far far away from me.
I really don't feel like I have much to say. All of my classes have started now, and I am not really liking philosophy. I start my work placement on Tuesday, after the family day vacation on Monday that I'm pretty sure only happens in Canada. (basically our way of getting a long weekend in February)
