So, back at college for another week. I was pretty sick over the weekend but I'm feeling okay now so that's good. Last week was hectic but I got through it anyway. On Sunday, I went out with a friend to a place called Eddie Rockets which as I found out recently is actually Irish. It's this restaurant which is done like a 1960's american diner, anyway the food is amazing if a little expensive, I got a BLT and an Oreo Milkshake, it was awesome. :D
My week was packed with lectures and labs and homework, I got a little bit of free time to go watch a film woth my friends but in general I couldn't do much. Hopefully this week will be a little better though, I have only one lecture on Monday so I can use all that free time to do my homework for the week, also I'm going to see a play on Monday, I'm really excited I haven't seen a play in years.
The film I saw last week was "Captain America", maybe I wasn't really into it but I didn't like it. I think I must have missed something at the end because I was like "THIS MAKES NO SENSE!". Oh, well if anyone else has seen it and listened closely at the end maybe you could explain it to me.
I was reading your posts during the week and all of a sudden I was like "OMG, everyone else has an accent!" I know I'm a little slow, it just didn't realy occur to me that everyone else would have an american, canadian or a new zealander accent. I guess I'm just easily amused. Ireland has a ridiculous number of accents for the size and population of the country. I could easily list off 10 different extremely distinct accents from the country, and considering the population is like 4 million, thats a lot I think. I think I have quite a generic Irish accent, people can never really place me. I grew up in a really posh area for a few years and then moved to a farm in the middle of nowhere when I was four. I think the two accents just sorta cancelled out. :P
Anyway, I think thats all the news in my life, have a good week everyone. :)
DFTBA
Adam
