So I got to miss two days of school this week. The first day was for a dentist appointment and the second was because I was sick. Not very fun. And I'm a little behind in my work because of it, which sucks. It's going to be a busy weekend.
Today I made homemade mac and cheese for the first time ever. Usually we just make Kraft Dinner if we want mac and cheese, but I'd been wanting to see if I could make it or not from scratch for a while. It actually turned out pretty good, especially for a first try. Not that the recipe was super hard or anything.
Movie review for this week is on a pretty well known one (at least I'm fairly sure it is): Say Anything. I had heard good things about it from various places and yeah it was pretty good, but not super amazing in my opinion. The boom box scene was also not exactly as I expected. And wow, John Cusack looked really young in this movie. Anyway, it was a good movie so you should check it out.
As for the Occupy protests, I've heard about them, but I'm not really concerned with them. Not sure if that's bad of me to do... I just don't really care about it all that much.
Kate, I'm also wondering the same thing as Deidra about the tissues. And sorry, but I'm horrible of thinking of things to write about so I don't think I'll be of any help at all in that department.
Campion, I am most definitely not a morning person and I can't really understand how some people are. I love staying up late and sleeping in late. But even if I get a full nights rest I always still feel tired in the morning. And when I feel tired all I want to do is either go back to sleep or just curl up and not do anything.
And as for my favourite mythical creature... well that's a toughy. I think right off the bat I would like to say selkies. I think they're pretty cool, and it'd be awesome to just throw on a robe to turn into a seal and go swimming and just change back whenever you feel like it. Selkies have been my favourite for a while now, but before that it was probably the European dragon. Dragons are epic, super powerful, fire breathing, treasure hoarding, scaled beasts. What's not to love? However I also like a bunch of other things such as fairies, elves, centaurs, kappas, sirens, tengu, tsukumogami, etc, etc. My list could go on for a while, but I'll leave it at that. I really like mythical creatures, so it'll be interesting to read everyone else's responses.
DFTBA
