I find that writing is something that comes more naturally to some, I don't find that I'm one of those people. Which makes it a little silly of me to have entered Nanwrimo this year. I have no idea how to write a novel or what it should be about for that matter. Any hints, tips or suggestions will be warmly welcomed :)
I think that the US is probably the most powerful in terms of world influence. Obviously living in Ireland I see Britain as very influential but I still have to give the edge to America. I was walking up the main street in Dublin with my friends and we passed a Macdonalds, a KFC, a Burger King, Foot Locker, another Macdonalds..... So I think it has to win on that front.
I was thinking a lot today about the perception of distance and time. I was watching John plays Fifa on the Hankgames channel, my new favourite show and he mentioned how he drove to Alaska which took 14 days.
I really can't comprehend that. I live in Ireland, to drive from between the two furthest points is a 7 hour drive. Since I live fairly central I've never really had to experience a drive longer than four hours. What's the longest drive any of you guys have ever had?
My song "Bad Wolf" is taking longer than I thought, I might just start fresh again.
Well, I have to get up early tomorrow, to watch Ireland play Italy in the Rugby World Cup so goodnight!
