Okay, so this is gonna be the bestest post ever

Okay people, I'm psyched. This will be a good post. This will be the best post ever. Or not. I dunno. Sure, I'll give it a go.

So, I'm back from Germany. It was amazing! I love that country so much. It's so nice, I met up with two friends there. We had a really nice time. Now there will be pictures.

So that's Germany. I didn't get lost like I thought I would :) I managed to go to Cavan (the town near me), get a bus to the airport, get a plane to Dusseldorf, get a tram to the train station, get a train into the city and then get a train out to Dortmund. All in all, it sounded far more intimidating than it was.
I spent the first day in Dortmund adjusting to the change in time and pressure of getting there. Then the second day I moved on to the house of a different friend in a place called Munster. I was there for the rest of the week, we went round the city and saw museums and other things like that. It was nice.

So, anyway, now I'm back in college and I start tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends and all that. Unfortunately my timetable really sucks. I have one hour on Monday and then eight hours from 9-7 on Wednesday, I wish it was better spread out through the week.

So, how is everyone?

I can't say that I had heard about the same sex marraiges but that was pretty interesting. I hope it all gets resolved.

I'd say Ron is a Gryfindor but I don't mind if people argue that he should have been somewhere else because no one person conforms exactly to one set of attributes.  Every character in the novels, could potentially have been any house, because we all have those four attributes. Everyone on the planet has elements of bravery (even if they don't realise it), everyone is intelligent in certain ways, everyone has things which they are loyal to, everyone has an element of ambition. The four houses (in my opinion) represent four basic human values. I think the question is moreso which of these values does the character pride themself on. For example Harry prides himself on bravery and Malfoy on ambition. To suggest Harry lacks in intelligence, loyalty or ambition is stupid so its more a question of what house do you really think you belong in.

Anyway, it's getting late, so i'm going to head to bed. I shouldn't start these posts so late. Nighty night.
