It's that time of the week in which I regret having to go back to school! Remember Friday? Such a nice time, so good. I got my grades back, FINALLY! I passed, like I thought I would, some classes just barely with a C I add shamefully (holds up history). In my defense I switched into honors half way through the course! Besides that B's and mostly A's to spread around, which is nice.

I'm not a Harry Potter person, I realize after sometime now I just can't nerd-out over it. Confessing that I have no argument to throw into the ring about Ron. Instead I'm going to talk about elephants, just because. So here are ten facts:

1. The elephants can live between 50 and 70 years. The oldest known elephant lived 82 years old.
2.  They are the symbol of wisdom in the Asian culture and they are renowned for their great memory and intelligence.
3.  The word ‘elephant’ comes from the greek “ἐλέφας” which means ivory.
4.  The adults in good condition are said to have no natural predators except the humans which are a real threat to them.
5.  Elephants are the biggest land mammals still alive.
6. It takes a female 22 months from conception to have a baby. This is longer than any other animal in the world.
7.  The trunk of an elephant has more than 40,000 muscles in it.
8.  Elephants love to swim.
9.  Females can continue to have offspring until they are about 50 years old. They tend to have a new baby every 2 ½ to 4 years. Twins are extremely rare for elephants.
10.  Elephants are known to have a type of tuberculosis which can be transferred to humans. This is why those that work closely with them have to get a vaccination to prevent it.

That was fun. I'm not quite sure why I found researching elephants so fun, but it was. A lot. Maybe I'm just too tired and am easily amused! Seriously though, elephants need more credit. I haven't had a lot of time to play my uke much, and I think I forgot just about everything I knew last week, which is fun. Do you guys listen to NPR? I do on occasion. We had to listen to part of a broadcast in physics on Thursday about how contact lenses will soon have the internet and the same with a chip put in our brains to control the mouse. Something along those lines, but that's not my point. They had Michio Kaku and I own his book Physics of the Impossible. I was wondering what you guys thought about time travel actually existing one day or the contact lenses with internet. Do you think it's plausible? Here's the link to listen to it:

Tell me what you think if you get the time!
This has been long enough so goodnight, dftba and

Bye!♥
