I must say the first day of school didn't go as bad as I thought it might. It was quite nice to see all of my friends again, and to finally be able to see the work they have been doing inside the school. I am already not enjoying being back, though. Getting up early in the morning has never been a favourite thing of mine, especially not to go to school.
My classes have been so-so. I have since quitted my math class, because after two days of it I just wanted to hide in my closet and forget everything I'd ever learned about it, just to have an excuse to never do it again (though I'm quite sure that would not help). I have changed it for some type of online history course, to do with Canadian cutlure and identity. It sounds like a good idea now, but I'm sure I will be regretting it in the near future.
But I have spent most of the evening writing a stupid essay (that took me forever to start, because I suck at beginnings) so I will post my first short post, and hopefully be able to write a longer one next week.
Campion, hope exams are going/went well. Adam, I really hope college is all you've hoped it would be, and that you are settling in well. Katie, sorry to hear about your mad panda drive search, I do stuff like that, mostly with my glasses. Put those things down for a second and then *bam*, total confusion (not to mention blurry vision while searching). Kate, I would love to be able to read Alaska for English class, but sadly it was not on the accepted reading list for the studies. So I'm doing the Stone Angel. I hope it will be good. I'm so sorry to hear about your sweater, Kira. I don't know what I would do if I ripped my favourite sweater (probably scream). I have not had it as long as you have had yours, but it is my comfort when I am upset.
Anywho, have a good week everyone, and don't forget to be awesome!
