So my sister's gone now and there's only like 3 or 4 days until school starts again. While she was visiting my whole family went to see the new Planet of the Apes movie titled Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Let me just say this: it was really, really good. I don't know if any of you guys have seen the original Planet of the Apes movies (I don't really know if any of my other friends have either) but they're really good, they're classics and I highly recommend watching them. I got into them along with other things that are technically before my time such as Star Wars and Star Trek because of my family. But if you don't want to or don't feel like watching the old movies and just watched the new one you'd still get a good experience out of it. You just won't get all the references to the old movies.
Also, a while back (like last year sometime, I think) I watched the movie Freak the Mighty with Deidra and I just got around to reading the book today. Lets just say my eyes are really sore now from crying and squint reading in the evening in my vehicle.
And I recently saw a trailer that rreminded me of the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword game and I cannot wait for it to come out! LoZ games are my favourite, anyone else here like them?
Congrats Adam on getting Prom King, that's really cool. I hope your first day of school went well Katie. Kate, I hope volleyball and school are going well for you, too. Kira, I don't drink coffee ever even though my whole family is like addicted to the stuff. I prefer hot chocolate when I want a warm drink. And Deidra you are always buying those cappuccinos or lattes or whatever from school in the mornings, I put that in the same group as coffee. Campion, I hope your exams weren't to difficult and everythings going alright for you.
Deidra, you had to go and make me think of something difficult like what makes me happy and of course I have the shortest time of everyone to think about it.... thanks, thank you very much. *sarcasmsarcasm* Lol, just kidding, but yeah, it's hard for me to think of things like this on the spot so my list is things that "make me happy," but maybe not the things that make me "the happiest in the world." Also its pretty much just random order so #1 doesn't necessarily mean it's highest for me.
1. Having something turn out exactly the way you imagined it in your head.
2. Weekends.
3. My Mummi's baking, it's heavenly!
4. Daisy (and friendly pets in general)
5. Snuggling into my bed after a long day.
6. Being with my friends.
7. Hot chocolate when I'm feeling cold.
8. Reading a good book.
9. Having no homework. (which I think happened only once last year)
10. Knowing the lyrics to a song for once.
Also some of the things on your list were good, I just didn't want to be repetitive.

P.S. - This is me. Everyday. (Well not everyday... but you get the point.) Darn that brain of mine!
haha, sorry 'bout that. i did warn that it was a tough list to write. i was going to say that there was more than one day we didn't get homework, but you are correct. I just didn't do my homework every single night. also, my list was in no particular order either, the numbers just made it a list.
ReplyDeletelol me too, there were many nights when I didn't do homework, but only one where I actually didn't have to do homework, I was so happy that day :P
ReplyDeleteThe book Freak the Might really was quite sad...I've never seen the movie, but I read the book in first grade. I got rather upset.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Love the web comic. It also applies to me.
ReplyDeleteMy biology class (there's seven of us) went to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes for an excursion because apparently it fitted in with our topic. It really was amazing! But I haven't seen the older movies.
