I loved the Legend of Zelda games. My favorites (because I can never choose one) are Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker.
Ten things that make me happiest:
- Making my family/teachers proud.
- All the things I do on/everyone I know from the internet
- Accomplishing a goal/project
- Laying outside on a trampoline, in the country, when the weather is perfect.
- Finding the perfect, most comfortable position in your bed, and just laying there in the warmth.
- My cats.
- When all the snow finally melts, it's 45 degrees (Fahrenheit) and you don't have to wear a jacket.
- The first day of school.
- The last day of school.
- Knowing/feeling I belong to an amazing group of friends.
A week from now, next Monday, is the day my brother leaves for basic training. He is going to train to become part of the Special Forces in the US Army. I'd like to see him off at the airport, but my dad wants me to go to school, and I also don't want to see my parents cry.
For English, we have to read a book by the end of the quarter. The book had to be an AR (Accelerated Reader) book. Once we finish the book, we have to go take the AR quiz. I chose Looking For Alaska even though I have already read it. The book is beautiful. My favorite quote can be found near the end of the book.
"Those awful things are survivable, because we are as indestructible as we believe ourselves to be. When adults say, 'Teenagers think they are invincible' with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don't know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken. We think we are invincible because we are."
If John came up with that on his own... he is a genius. Sometimes I wish we were assigned to do a paper on our Role Model so that I could write all about John and Nerdfighteria.
