Things I thought of

OK, I just realised that I started this post almost half an hour ago so I should probably start putting some words on the screen.

So how about those Olympics, eh? I have to say I really enjoyed the opening ceremony, I thought it was really well done and it had Kenneth Branagh which was awesome. The American Olympic team is ridiculously big, it felt like they were coming out for ages. I'm really enjoying watching the different random sports, it would be really awesome if an Irish athlete won a Gold medal, we haven't won any since Atlanta in 96 and I don't really remember that.

I'm reading Fahrenheit 451 and I'm really enjoying it, I have the first two sections finished. I think it's a very awesome book, I've always had a soft spot for dystopian fiction so it's a wonder I hadn't already read this.

I'm going to see The Dark Knight Rises on Wednesday, I'm pretty psyched about it, I had it spoiled for me which is a real downer but I'm hoping I'll still enjoy it.

The summer is starting to drag on a bit by this stage, but it's only a little more than a month left until college starts again. I've started looking at modules to take for next year, my compulsory modules took up 10 of my 12 slots so I'll need to choose 2 more. Also, I'll have to look at a foreign exchange for 3rd year, one of the options I have would be to go to Berkeley in California. I'm not sure what it would be like but it  would be a once in a lifetime opportunity since I wouldn't be able to afford to go there under normal circumstances.

Anyway, I'm all out of words so farewell and DFTBA,
Adam
