It kind of feels like summer is over, but there's still a month left.

Hey guys! I've been putting off doing my post out of laziness, but alas I must do it now before time runs out.

My week's been pretty good; highlights being going to see Brave finally and baking an apple pie. Brave was really good and I loved the animating, especially Merida's curly hair. It just looked so nice in my opinion lol. I also baked an apple pie because I had nothing else to do. I was a little worried it wouldn't turn out good, but it tasted awesome if I do say so myself.

Deidra's been over at my house the past little while. We had fun hanging out and going to see Batman and stuff. We made Mexican lasagna.

We also managed to watch the opening ceremonies for the Olympics even though I don't get tv here. We had to skip through a bunch of different online streams (some in different languages) because several kept getting shut down. But we saw the majority of it, and wow it was pretty crazy/amazing. I'm disappointed in the amount of Doctor Who that they had in it (ie/ pretty much none), but I did enjoy the Mr. Bean appearance. Mr. Bean is awesome.

I'm heading back up to Geraldton tomorrow because all next week I'm going to be helping at the day camp thing that my church holds every summer. I'm not excited at all for it since neither my sister nor Deidra will be there to help and make it less boring.

I mostly only read Archie's comics when I was younger and now I'm more into manga so I don't have much to say about comics in general. I do actually have a very small collection of The Legion of Super-Heroes, Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Daredevil, and Jonny Quest comics that I like to look at and read over occasionally. They're pretty old ones though (like from back when comics were sold for 50 cents apparently), haven't even looked at any recent comics. Campion's advice seems best, just start with something that you like to read.

I can't really think of anything else to say so DFTBA
