Thinking Far Ahead

Did I mention that I am getting kind of tired of summer? Yes I did. Still, let me reiterate: summer is becoming boring. Don't get me wrong, I like being able to stay up late and sleep until noon, but there isn't really anything to do during the day. I have pretty much all of my pre-school stuff done, and yet there are still three week remaining until I actually start.

Things I have done this week include banking. I got a student line of credit, a credit card, and got an online banking account set up. And my student assistance money is all in order (had a mishap yesterday that gave me a heart attack) so I should have no trouble at all with paying for school. Seriously though, it is crazy expensive. Anyway, today I downloaded my printer software to my laptop, and figured out where on campus my classes are in comparison to my dorm. It's actually pretty good, as it's a small campus, except for one class in which I will have to walk across campus twice a week for 5:30pm. It's looks pretty good though.

So I have finally watched all of the Avengers prequels. Thor and Captain America last week, and Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Hulk this week. Hopefully I can find a reliable place to what Avengers for tonight. I am actually quite excited. My favourite was, surprisingly, Iron Man. I like Tony Stark, probably mostly for his ego. I like that he wasn't all humble about his powers and brilliance. Also, the technology in the movie was kind of cool. I'm a sucker for cool technology in movies.

Kate, I do not understand how you spend that much time in/at school. 9-12 hours, a day. How can you stand that? I mean, since I took a bus in high school and stupid dual-school schedules, I left home at 7:30 and got home at 4:30, which was 9 hours, and it was torture (granted, 1 hour of that was spent on a bus, usually sleeping).

Kira, I cannot play even one musical instrument, so your ability to understand and play, even one, is amazing to me. You don't forget to be awesome. So, keep up with that. It's a cool talent to have.

And the rest of you, don't forget to be awesome. Try not to perish in the prison of school, don't shrivel up in boredom on your vacations, and generally have a good time with whatever you are doing.

P.S- It has come to my attention that they don't have Smarties chocolates in America. I don't know about Ireland or New Zealand, but either way I am making it my mission to rectify that. Therefore you should all e-mail your mailing addresses to me so that you can get a box (and a Christmas card, which will be why and when you are getting free chocolate from me)
